When was the resort built?
The resort was completed in 1990 to offer guests premium south west accommodation. The first part of the Resort was built around 1980 and was added in stages thereafter. There have been several renovations, the most recent of which has been the renovation of the bathrooms and kitchens.
Are there babysitting facilities?
Our reception staff has a list of reputable babysitting services in the area. Being a very family friendly resort, it is an ideal spot to bring the children.
What time does breakfast start?
Breakfast is open at 7:30 am and finishes at 10:30 am. We have a full a la carte breakfast menu.
Can I book a tour from the resort?
Absolutely. Our brochure room is located just opposite the Front Desk in Reception. Guests can browse through for things to see and do in the area, maps etc. Our reception staff will then be able to assist in booking a tour for you from our luxury Busselton accommodation.
Is there WiFi at the resort?
We have Free unlimited WIFI available in all rooms throughout the resort
Is there a spa in my room?
Every room has a spa bath! When we refurbished the Resort we put a spa bath in every room so that you can relax at the end of the day in style and comfort.
Are there spa products in my room?
Along with the complimentary bath gel in your room, we have Spa Packs with locally produced products available to purchase from Front Desk which includes body lotion, bath wash, bath salts or massage oil.
Do we have a laundry?
Our guest laundry is complimentary and located near the café for guests staying in our Studio Spa room and our 1 Bedroom Apartments. Laundry powder is available for purchase at reception. Our 2 and 3 Bedroom Apartments have a washing machine and tumble dryer contained within the apartment.
Are there movies in the room?
TV channels are available in the rooms and DVD’s are still available for rental from the brochure room opposite reception.
Can I have flowers delivered to my room before I arrive?
Yes, we can certainly arrange flowers to be placed in the room if ordered 72 hours in advance through our reservations team. Treat that special person!
Will my room be serviced every day?
If you are staying four or more nights, you will receive at least one service during your stay which will be confirmed on arrival. For short stays (under 4 days) if you require any linen, towels or amenities replenished or refreshed during your stay our staff will be more than happy to assist when contacted
Can I have a queen bed instead of 2 twins?
This is certainly possible in some of our rooms, please ask reception when making your reservation.
I would like to buy a gift voucher, is this possible?
Yes, gift vouchers are available for purchase through our website or by contacting the reservations team. We love to help those looking for a birthday or anniversary gift for example, and our vouchers are very popular with companies wanting to say thank you to their clients or staff with a stay at our South West Accommodation.
The resort looks beautiful, can I hold my wedding there?
Absolutely, we are one of the most popular wedding venues in the South West, please contact our Wedding Co-ordinator for more information functions@abbeybeach.com.au and our dedicated and experienced team will be there to guide you every step of the way.
The resort looks ideal for my next staff event, do you hold functions at Abbey Beach?
We most certainly do! The resort is the largest conference centre in the South West and we hold meetings and seminars right up to gala events. Please contact our functions team for more information functions@abbeybeach.com.au
Is there parking and is it free?
We have over 500 complimentary parking spaces here at the resort. 2, 3 and beachfront apartments have a parking space assigned to them for ease of access to the individual apartments.
Are you pet-friendly?
We currently do not allow pets, however, assistance dogs such as guide dogs are welcome.
Do you have any jobs available?
Resumes are welcomed by sending them through to jobs@abbeybeach.com.au or by dropping in and filling out an application available from reception. We would love to hear from you if you have the skills and great attitude that you could bring to the resort whether it be in reception, food and beverage, maintenance or housekeeping.
Does my room have a balcony?
All our studio spa suites, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments, beachfront apartments and disabled apartments have balconies, as well as the majority of our 1 bedroom apartments. Enjoy the view over the pool, lake or gardens, our beachfront apartments also have a view of the ocean from our South West Accommodation.
How many bathrooms does my apartment have?
All of our apartments have got a bathroom per room. For example, a 3 bedroom apartment has got 3 bathrooms. No queuing in the mornings and ideal to share with friends or families!
Will reception be open when I arrive?
We will definitely see you when you arrive at our reception is open 24 hours a day.
When is the pool open?
The heated indoor pool is open from 7.30am until 9.00pm (8.30pm on Sundays). Our 2 outdoor pools have seasonal opening hours. Go on have a splash!
Can I walk to the beach?
Absolutely! The beach is only 2 minutes walk from the studios and apartments. We are located on Geographe Bay which is over 30 kms long and has beautiful white sand for you to dig your toes into.
Can I walk into Busselton?
It is 7 kilometres into Busselton town centre from the resort. Why not grab one of our bikes we have for hire and hit the cycle path which stretches right through Busselton and onto Dunsborough.
